ADDITIONAL NOTES FOR OCTOBER 5TH

BRASS BAND SECOND LINE:

We will be holding a good ol’ fashioned New Orleans style second line featuring Guerrilla Fanfare Brass Band, starting from Coal Creek Bowling and continuing through The District to The Arts Hub around 5PM! If you want to be part of the parade, please come by Coal Creek Bowling around 4:30 to catch the end of Stomp Street Heist’s set and join the party!

Capacity Limits:

In previous years, some venues reached capacity during certain performances. This is your reminder that a wristband does not guarantee you entry into a venue if that venue has the maximum occupancy already inside. This mostly applies to our indoor venues: Coal Creek Bowling, Bounce Empire, Nissi’s, Muse Performance Space, The Arts HUB, and The End Lafayette.

If this does happen to you, we invite you to visit our other stages, or take some time out to snag some snacks or drinks from nearby businesses!

Inclement Weather:

As of this morning, NOAA has issued a Red Flag Warning for Boulder County. This means that there may be some times of the day when the wind will be, well, pretty windy in Lafayette.

Safety is our first priority, and we will be making adjustments for our outdoor performances and vendor spaces if it is deemed necessary. In case of sustained high winds, please head into the atrium of The District, or one of our indoor venues for temporary shelter. Please make every effort to listen to our staff or volunteers if they are directed by city officials to instruct music fans to take shelter in any other fashion.

What is the Lafayette Music Fest?

Well, it’s an awesome event, happening October 5th, 2024! One wristband gets you in to some of the hippest venues in Lafayette, Colorado!

How do I purchase a ticket?

Tickets are on sale now! Click here!

When and where do I get my wristband?

Each ticket will be exchanged for a wristband when presented at one of the five ticketed venues or the free stages at The District of the Fest. One wristband will be provided per ticket. Wristbands will be accepted at The End LafayetteThe Arts HubMuse Performance Space, and Bounce Empire for all ages until 10pm. Attendees for acts at Nissi’s must be over 21 and each member of your party will be asked for identification validating this. Additionally, attendees at Bounce Empire after 10pm must be at least 18 years of age.

Am I guaranteed to get into each venue?

Attendance at each venue is on a first-come, first-serve basis, and a wristband does not guarantee your entry if capacity limits at a venue are of concern. If one venue has reached capacity, we invite you to take part in the other venues simultaneously presenting artists.

What's up with Bounce Empire?

Our newest venue, Bounce Empire, welcomes you to the area's largest indoor amusement park! Your wristband is your ticket into Bounce Empire. You will be required to fill out a waiver form before entry, and after 10pm, the venue changes from all ages to 18+. Even little ones will need a wristband, or purchase a separate ticket to Bounce Empire during the day if they do not have their own wristband.

Are there any age restrictions?

The End Lafayette, Lafayette Arts HUB, Muse Performance Space, and Coal Creek Bowling are all ages all the time. Nissi’s is a 21+ venue and age verification will be required upon entry. Bounce Empire is all ages until 10pm, when it turns into an 18+ venue. The free stages at The District are all-ages.  All wristband holders under 16 must be under the supervision of a parent or guardian at all times.

If accompanied by a parent or guardian with a wristband, children under six do not need a separate wristband for entry to The End Lafayette, The Arts Hub, or Muse Performance Space. Many of our indoor venues are small and loud spaces, so ear protection for little ones is HIGHLY recommended.

How do I get to the fest?

We encourage our event attendees to travel as much as possible using alternate modes of transportation. The main Lafayette Park N Ride is located at the northeast corner of the venues and is serviced by the LD (Longmont/Denver), Dash (Boulder/South Boulder Road), Jump (Boulder/Arapahoe), and 225 (Boulder/Baseline) busses. Limited parking will be available at each venue along with additional parking lots in the area.
